IBS Partners with Make It Wild to Support Rewilding in Norfolk
Industrial Boiler Services (UK) Ltd (IBS) is proud to support Make It Wild, a UK-based conservation organisation, as part of its carbon offsetting programme.
Together, we are helping Covenhope Nature Reserve thrive, a unique habitat regeneration project on land that has been organic since 1997.
Located in rural Norfolk, west of Norwich, the reserve retains traditional hedged enclosures and was formerly a dairy farm. Since September 2022, the project has planted hundreds of trees, restored hedges, installed wildlife boxes, and rejuvenated ponds to create rich habitats for amphibians, birds, and mammals.
These efforts are already producing results. Wildlife is flourishing across the reserve, including birds of prey, farmland and garden birds, bats, and a rapidly growing amphibian population thanks to improvements in the oldest pond.
Through carbon offsetting, IBS is taking meaningful steps to balance its carbon footprint by investing in nature-based solutions that capture and store carbon. Supporting Covenhope Nature Reserve not only benefits the environment but also creates a lasting sanctuary for local wildlife.
