Project Description:
Following the success of similar works, Industrial Boiler Services (UK) Ltd were again selected as the Principal Contractor for another Secure Site plantroom in the East of England.
In this demanding environment, maintaining all building services throughout the project via one of our temporary boiler solutions was the only feasible option. Our turnkey approach paved the way for these works to be completed on time, to a tight budget, with zero downtime for the client.
The scope of works included new boilers to replace the failed, cast-iron sectional units, leaking twin-wall flue systems, inefficient belt-driven pumps, and the removal of stored water in the form of a feed and expansion tank.
Two Ideal Evojet 150kW condensing pressure jet boilers were installed, along with the tried and tested UK exchangers gasketed plate heat exchanger arrangement, separating the new boilers from the older system.
Our trusted partners, Mikrofill and Vexo, provided the goods when it came to the pressurisation units and combined side-stream filtration and chemical dosing pots, for both the primary and secondary heating hydronics.
