Project Description:
Industrial Boiler Services (UK) Ltd successfully delivered a complete temporary heating solution to support a major plant room refurbishment at a prestigious hotel in the St Paul’s area of London.
Working on behalf of Kent-based mechanical contractor Caches Ltd, our team completed the full process, from the initial site survey through to commissioning, in just seven days, ensuring the client’s heating system remained operational throughout the critical refurbishment works.
The temporary installation comprised:
- 600kW oil-fired temporary heating boiler
- 3,000 litre fuel tank
- 100 metres of 3″ flexible flow and return hose
- Full temporary connections to the existing heating system
- Delivery, installation, testing and commissioning
With minimal time available to mobilise, our engineers worked closely with Caches Ltd to design and implement a solution that integrated seamlessly with the existing heating infrastructure while maintaining continuity of service for the hotel and its guests.
By providing a reliable temporary heating system, the client was able to proceed with the complete plant room overhaul without disruption to the building’s heating provision, demonstrating the value of early collaboration, fast mobilisation and experienced project delivery.
